DevOps Engineer

About The Position

Global leaders including Infosys, Warner Music Group, The Telegraph, and E. ON depend on IONIX’s machine learning-powered discovery engine, contextual risk assessment and prioritization, and end-to-end remediation workflow to go on the offensive in managing their complex and ever-changing attack surfaces.

IONIX is looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join its growing R&D team to research and develop infrastructures using the latest cutting edge technologies. This is a fully remote position, location will be preferably in Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and build a large-scale, highly available cloud infrastructure focusing on K8S.
  • Improve resiliency and cost efficiency of our cloud infrastructure.
  • Automate tasks and error-handling scenarios.
  • Develop and adopt new tools to make Development and Operations processes more efficient.
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize service performance, reliability, and scale.

IONIX Technology Stack Sample: Azure, Kubernetes, Helm, CircleCI, Terraform, Nginx, CloudFlare, RabbitMQ, Redis, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Keda, Jfrog artifactory. Evolve and maintain infrastructure by improving and adopting new services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience in a SaaS production environments – a must.
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes and micro-service architecture.
  • Proven experience designing and building automation and CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI - advantage).
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.
  • DB management experience (Redis, PostgresSQL, ElasticSearch).
  • Experience with cloud vendors such as GCP/AWS/Azure (Azure – advantage).
  • Strong understanding of Linux and scripts skills (Bash, Python).
  • Experience working with Dockers and Containers.
  • Well organized and highly responsible with strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and logging tools (Elastic, etc.) – advantage.
  • System security experience – advantage.
